An Exalted Big Dipper in the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way (Lester, Nebraska). Mis' Harris referred to him as I.I. Blirch. Once stayed at the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Was the source of a muddled relay of telephone calls to Vic. Was voted the "Best Looking Man on the Western Side of Lester, Nebraska." Also voted the man with the "Longest Eyelashes on the Western Side of Lester, Nebraska." Vic called him a 'half wit' and a 'slob.' Member of the All-Star Marching Team for the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way. Sade says he wears his shoes on the wrong feet (presumably from a non-surviving episode). Loves marching more than anything on earth. He is also fond of asparagus, gravy, walnuts and pie. Lives in a tent on a vacant lot and it's also probably occupied by J.J.J.J. Stunbolt. Was hit by a fast passenger train - more than once (and here's the third time). Has a brother named I.Y. Flirch. Never pays his hotel bills.

Identical twins. Members of the All-Star Marching Team for the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way. They live is Hoopeston, Illinois with their wives, Bessie and Messy. Their brothers are Bertie and Dirtie Hink. Always spoken of together, as if one person. Made headlines when they drove their power mower 171 miles from Moline to Decatur, Illinois. After suffering bad head-cold, their doctor told them to head west. They traveled 60 miles west or just 10 miles east of the Gooks. (Sade made Vic write them and tell them not to come for a visit, as they had planned to stay with the Gooks.) Sellers of Christmas cards; they hoped to win free parking in Toledo, Ohio. Called Sade and Rush ('Ruth') on the telephone. With their wives and brothers, again called the Gooks and spoke to Sade and Rush. Own a $300 lawnmower. The Gooks seem to assume the brothers are rich. They still think that Rush is really named "Ruth." The twins invited all of the Marching Team to Hoopston, Illinois for some sort of get-together but they did not invite Vic. Vic and the twins are mad at each other; Vic called them, "crooks." The twins tried to bribe Honker J. Sponger into removing Vic from Marching Team power, going so far as to write Honker J. Sponger a dozen letters and bribing him with apples, mucilage, hickory nuts and $3 in cash.

He is the only known (to us) out-of-town member of both The Scared Stars of the Milky Way and employee of Consolidated Kitchenware. Lives in Grovelman, South Carolina. He has 48 teeth, one from every state in the union. Member of the All-Star Marching Team for the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way. In a letter to Vic, refers to Rush as "Eliza." For Christmas 1940, Sade says he sent her a pair of easy slippers at Christmas addressed to: Charlie, Gus, Walter and Margaret. Rush says Mr. Fleeber sent him a pipe with no stem and it was addressed to: Hazel, Eddie, Herman and Fat. Wrote Vic a letter inviting him and the family to visit Grovelman, South Carolina for 2 weeks but spread out over a month. Uncle Fletcher suggested Vic invite him to Mis' Keller's wedding.

One of the two new members of the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way's All-Star Marching Team. He's described by H.K. Fleeber as being, "Hearty, intelligent and resourceful." Was to be married in 1954 so in 1944, sent out wedding invitations. Was drummed out of the lodge and decided he'd start his own marching team; tried to get Vic to join up with him.
