George McSpulfer

He was shot with a revolver just outside of Dayton, Ohio; afterwards, he simply could not remember his wife Dorothy. He also had an exciting political life that sounds amazingly like that of Eugene Parklow: he ran for coronoer and got beat, he ran for street commissioner and got beat, he ran for sheriff and got beat and then ran for superintendent of schools and got beat. His big ambition was to run for mayor and get beat. His sister Grace played the coronet backwards.

Ran for coroner and got beat. He ran for alderman and got beat. He ran for county clerk and got beat. He ran for deputy sheriff and got beat. His biggest ambition was to run for mayor in 1896 and get beat and he realized that ambition. [ Life somewhat parallels George McFulper, O. J. Geever, F.G. Rogeeshersly and Emory J. Hong.] - some of this compiled by Richard E. Hunton
