First name is 'Grace' and middle name is 'Margaret.'  Her sister is Doreen Otto. Acquaintance of Sade from the Thimble Club. Sade (usually) does not like her and says most other women don't like her either.  Sade says ''she is full of tricks''.   Calls groups of playing cards "suites" (sweets) instead of 'suits.'  She told Sade that Charlie Razorscum died on the second floor of Yamilton's.  Sade saw her while Christmas shopping at Yamilton's; each was buying the same bottle of perfume as a Christmas gift for each other. She interrupted Ruthie Stembottom's story of Sade's proposed lodge convention trip to Hawaii. Sade accidently smashed her wrist-watch at Thimble Club.  She was probably the Thimble Club President before Sade took the office.  Once drove by car to the city of Dwight, taking Sade with her.  Knows quite a bit about the government and the Supreme Court. "Imposes" on Sade and is always "condescending" - chums around with Mis' Brighton. Will tell stories and won't allow others to tell them.  Came over to Sade's house and convinced her that her house should "conform with 1940's standards" and so they moved the furniture around, upsetting Sade.  Ruthie told her off in the underwear department of Yamilton's.  When she was younger, she used give music lessons.  She once spoke at Rush's high school.  Called Dottie Brainfeeble "Mis' Beanfrabble".  Has a silly streak in her.  Donated silk lace to the Thimble Club bazaar that belonged to her grandmother.  A very aggressive shopper, Sade said she's "like a lion in a jungle" and compared her to "Ralph Dempsey" (Jack Dempsey.)  While in Chicago, heard a rumor about Vic and Pom Pom Cordova and the Little Tiny Petite Pheasant Feather Tea Shoppy; came back to town and told Sade.

Works at Consolidated Kitchenware Plant #14 and uses purple ink in her pen.  Works in the boxing department.  A photo of her mouth was to appear in a denistry magazine. Had Pom Pom Cordova as a houseguest.  Lives in the Monte Carlo Apartments. Co-winner of the "Consolidated Kitchenware Prettiest Eyes (Beauty) Contest."   Told Vic he had piercing, blue eyes.  Told Vic that he had "slender feet", "tapering wrists" and a "noble head."  She was the Princess Moon-on-the-River in a story Sade told. Was a part of the group of "kids" at the train station to see Vic off.

President of the Anti-Horse Thief League.  Parade conductor.  Vic's friend. Lives in Emporia, Kansas. He's a member of the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way. In the past, he has had a bad habit of stealing horses. (Pom Pom Cordova though, was made an honorary lodge member because she helped him break the horse-thieving habit.) In 1940, he went to Sweet Esther, Wisconsin for a week but stayed a month. Sade says this is due to him laying low after he had been arrested for horse-thieving, then breaking out of custody. Vic disagrees. He may have gained a spot of the All-Star Marching Team. His biography states: Before reforming, Sky Brother Smith was associated with the Mankel Brother's Big-top Freak and Novelty Show, where he acted as roustabout and general utility man.  Because of his quick temper - which he has never been able to control - Sky Brother Smith underwent a personal terrible encounter with his employer, the latter spending eight months in the hospital.  After a year's stay at a penal farm in Arkansas, where Sky Brother Smith faced a false mayhem charge, he joined the pugilistic arena, successfully knocking out such well-known figures such as Horrible Howard Higginson, Iron-man Lester Noovel, Stone-head Williams the Eskimo welter-weight, and Fried-egg Chalker, now dead.  Sky Brother Smith's fierce and sudden temper brought him further trouble when he attacked, single-handed, six Detroit truck drivers and managed to injure them all so severely they were...
