Sweet Corn McBlock

Probably a large man. Called a "cronie of Uncle Fletcher." Mentioned by Uncle Fletcher as a person who is known to sleep on the courthouse lawn during the warmer weather.  Is a member of the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way but also got thrown out for not paying his dues.  He was a shattered bullfinch! Called up Vic to borrow a couple of dollars.

Homer Heck (Oklahoma)

His uncle was Morgan Perrin of Downer's Grove, Illinois - who could tie fancy knots. Used to live in Norman, Oklahoma.  Never even owned the socks he wore on his own feet. Mentioned many times in 1944. According to Wikipedia, one of the directors for the series was named Homer Heck.
