Husband of Edith Korkell. Got his foot stepped on by Howard and was bruised. He's a meter reader. Affectionately called "Mr. Husband" by his wife. Doesn't like Howard and said he should be punished. Uncle Fletcher tells him he looks a great deal like George J. McTrotch of Oklahoma. Gives piano lessons. Wanted to become a part of the Sewage Worker's Silver Cornet Band. Also plays the banjo.

Janitor for the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Was invited to Hank Gutstop's dinner party. Also works as the handyman at the hotel. Used to live in Philadelphia. Is somehow involved in the Hyena Grease business with Uncle Fletcher (in several episodes is trying to remove the odor from the grease.) Sade is under the impression that he and Vic are very good friends (they aren't.) Sade saw him shopping at Yamilton's when they had a big sale. Tried to sell a mother-of-pearl box containing a pink, plush album to Uncle Fletcher. According to Uncle Fletcher, he has imaginary brother. Mentioned by Uncle Fletcher as a person who is known to sleep on the courthouse lawn during the warmer weather. Was a roomer at Mis' Harris' house for a while. She was going to sue him for not paying his rent.
Rishigan Fishigan (aka Ishigan Fishigan)

| from Fishigan, Michigan |
Friend of Mr. Buller; the first time he is mentioned on the show he is referred to as "Ishigan Fishigan, from Sishigan, Michigan." His name was on Mr. Buller's list of presents for Sade to buy for. Was worried about a train running into the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Lives in the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Was part of the original revel party. Probably enjoys parades as he gave the name of a parade publication to Vic. Is a friend of Mis' Neagle. He was to act as waterboy when Mis' Neagle tore up Lee Street. Invited to Hank Gutstop's dinner party. Has a tattoo on his arm that shows his true name: "Jorrigan Corrigan from Borrigan, Oregon." Was to be hired by Uncle Fletcher to be a guide for Mis' Keller and Mr. Feedburn after their wedding. Mentioned by Uncle Fletcher as a person who is known to sleep on the courthouse lawn during the warmer weather. Came by the Gook home to see if they needed their windows washed. Built a penthouse on top of the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Married Jayne Bayne (from Payne, Maine.) They wanted to spend their honeymoon in the penthouse of the Bright Kentucky Hotel but there was no stairway leading up to it. The only way to get up to the penthouse was a drainpipe. And no self-respecting woman is going to shimmy up a drain pipe. [The stairs were removed because they were either struck by a train or because hotel management was afraid the stairs would be struck by a train.] When the trains went by, his bed would often move across the room and out into the hall, especially if it was a long train. Had a romance with Mis' Keller and would say "You are beautiful tonight, Helene." When he would meet Sade in town he stopped dead in his tracks, clicked his heels together, swept off his hat, bowed almost to the ground and said: "Madame, madame, a pleasure, madame." Vic told a strange story about him. An article from 1943 states that Rishigan was the owner of the Bright Kentucky Hotel.
Became a real character in Series 3.

{{{HEAR}}} Clarence Hartzell talks about Rishigan Fishigan and his wife.

Is the leader of a band. (An educated guess would be that he is the leader of the Sewage Disposal Workers Semi-Classical Silver Cornet Band.)

Vic's friend. Inventor of stingyberry jam. He wrote a song for Vic called, The Victor R. Gook Fontonelle. He wants the song to be published in the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way official songbook. Vic invited him over to the house for supper. He replaced Alf Musherton as the 3rd chair in the Sewage Disposal Workers Semi-Classical Silver Cornet Band. He is also an accomplished musician, artist and a talented composer. He lives at the Bright Kentucky Hotel. Is smitten with Pom Pom Cordova. Vic and Sade are planning a party so the two can meet. Asks Sade to be his agent and sell stingberry jam to the Thimble Club ladies but she refuses. He asks Uncle Fletcher to be a door-to-door agent and salesman for stingyberry jam but Sade talks him out of it. Uncle Fletcher calls him "brainy brainy." Invited to Hank Gutstop's dinner party. Works as a barber at the Butler House Hotel. Has a younger brother (D.D. Baugh) who is a dentist; they tried to talk Drowsy Venus chapter lodge brothers into tooth-removal for $5 each. Owns the concession at the Lazy Hours Pool Hall that sells cole slaw. Promoter, operator and always on the lookout for an easy dollar. Mentioned by Uncle Fletcher as a person who is known to sleep on the courthouse lawn during the warmer weather. Used piano wire for suspenders. Born in Sweet Esther, Wisconsin.
